Temple Spa Purification Review

Recently my skin has been feeling a little bleugh.  Dull, lifeless with the odd blemish coming for an unwelcome two week vacation on my face and across my shoulders.  So as usual I reached for a face mask, but not just any old one.  I've tried all of the little packets you can get for about a quid and lets face it, they contain a load of guff.  That's why I have turned to Purification.
So Temple Spa has been around for quite some time now.  I really only became aware of it when my friend invited me to one of the classes she was hosting.  Of course, be being me I always get sucked in and place an order with those type of things.  I purchased a face wash which I loved and this face mask that is lasting for forever.

Known as a vacuum cleaner for the skin Temple Spa's Purification is a deep cleansing clay mask packed full of natural extracts from land and sea.  It is known to tackle blocked pores, breakouts and blackheads. Ticks all of my boxes!  The dense mouse texture cleanses and purifies, leaving a radiant healthy glow.

Purification is recommended for those with
  • oily skin
  • acne-prone skin
  • normal skin with blocked pores and blemishes
  • sluggish skin
Some of the key ingredients include tea tree, rosemary and kaolin clay.  It has a very earthy, menthol, cooling scent and is a perfect decongestant whilst in a steamy bath.  Who needs to go to the spa anyway?  You can use it as a full face mask or dot it on problem areas, leaving it on for 5-20 minutes.  It comes with a spatula that supposedly makes it easier and tidier to put on but I prefer to get in there with clean fingertips.  It dries without tightening on your face, which I love.  I will warn you, after a few uses you will break out.  Do not panic like I did!  It took me a while to realise that this is the mask flushing out all the grime from your blocked pores.  It easily wipes off with a damp flannel and you are left with baby soft skin and smaller pores.  Hallelujah!

At £27 for a 85g jar, Purification would be on the higher side of my budget, but it is so worth the money and really does last ages.  I would definitely recommend you try it when your face needs a pick me up.

Have you tried Purification before?  What were your thoughts on it?  I would love to hear from you.
